We did not run the AMB system today and instead ran two heat races (pea pick). The grid for the feature races was based on the combined results of the 2 heat races. Therefore the results are NOT uploaded on MyLaps.

Alex Verhagen wins in Kid Kart and extends his lead on the OVRP Club Championship. Brian Tremper wins his first Micro Max race, and Dalton Hartye, on his last visit to Oakland Valley Race Park before going off to college, wins both in Yamaha and Sr TAG in wet cobnditions. Congratulations, and thanks to all racers for racing at OVRP. See you next weekend!

LIKA OVRP Race #2 (also OVRP Club #7), Saturday June 19
Club Race #6, Sunday June 6
The Sunday June 6 race followed the LIKA / OVRP combined clubs race on Saturday night (June 5) and was attended by many drivers from the Long Island Karting Association. The thunderstorms were right over the mountains all morning and we ran shortened races to try to beat the weather. In the end, the Jr Rotax and Senior TAG races were run in the rain, while the Yamahas encountered drying conditions.
